September 2006 Cruisers Newsletter The next meeting will be Monday, October 16th; at 7:00 PM at Ryan Rounds' Garage at 30149 59th Way, Cannon Falls. Take Minnesota Hwy 19 West towards Northfield, turn right at 1'st road past Highway 52 South Exit and follow North to the 1'st driveway on your left past the church. If you get lost, call Ryan at 263-4157. Highlights from September's meeting. • The Adopt-A-Highway clean up will be on Thursday, October 5th. We will meet at 6:00 PM at St. Pius V Church parking lot. • The membership voted that links to our web site cannot be made except if there is a back link to our site. • Any member or non-member can post an item to the classified adds on the web site. If the item is sold, then one percent of the sale is due to the club on an honor system. • Donation to the Police Reserve for $300 was approved by the members. • Shirts for members are still being researched by John Lee and Ryan; such as Sam’s Club or O’Reilly’s or DBI. Will report at the next meeting. Need members shirt sizes for next meeting. • Banner brackets were approved for purchase by Denny. • Discussed many different cruise options for next year; such as the Elkton Show; Pine Island etc. • October Leaf Cruise with the Drifters will be Sunday October 8th. We will leave the Cannon Falls commuter lot at 9:00 AM as a group, and head for the Dodge County Fairgrounds at Kasson. Registration is $10 per car, and the cruise ends at St. Charles for a chili feed and door prizes. See you all there! • Drawing winner: ??? Up-Coming Events
KEEP CRUISING! The club newsletter is published and circulated on a monthly basis to all of its members that are in good standing. Advertising space in the newsletter is available to all members. Some advertising options are as follows: garage space for rent, vehicles for sale, parts for sale, etc. If you wish to submit items for the newsletter; contact the editor, Gary Sigmeth, at (507)263-4622.
