October 2006 Cruisers Newsletter The next meeting will be Monday, November 20th, at 7:00 PM at Chris Zweber’s Garage at 31270 Sciota Trail, in Northfield. Phone: 507-645-7474. Take Minnesota HWY 19 west towards Northfield, past the Stanton Airport. Follow 19 west about 3 miles beyond the airport, on your right will be Dakota Cty 59(also known as Alta Avenue); turn right and follow north about 2.5 miles to Sciota Trail. Turn left and follow about 0.6 mile to 31270 Sciota trail. Highlights from October's meeting. • The Banquet Committee is looking into a number of locations: Cannon Golf Club, McArthurs, Mill St. Tavern for the banquet that is going to be held on Saturday, February 24th, 2007. • John Lee will be asked to obtain approval from the Cannon Falls City Council for our car show at Hannah’s Bend on August 5th,2007; and for the parking downtown on August 3rd • John will be asked to donate the $300 approved to the Cannon Falls Police Reserve. • Doug and Marcia have volunteered to work on the Show Flyer for 2007. • Those members that went on the leaf cruise reported that a good time was had by all and some members even won some door prizes. • Still working on some ideas for club shirts; keeping an eye out for golf shirt sales and Write-On will do the logos for us. • The Adopt-A-Highway pick up was accomplished, and this was our 22nd time in 11 years. • We received a thank you from the Cannon Valley Food Shelf for the 336 lbs and $302 that we donated from our Friday night cruise. • Gary is collecting shirt sizes at the meetings for the club shirts for next season. • President Paul is forming his officer nomination committee for next years officers which will be elected at our December Xmas meeting. Stay by your phone and await his call! • Gary has sent in our application for a MSRA voting event for our show. • Drawing winner: ? Up-Coming Events February 2nd-4th,2007- Monday, February 19th, 7pm meeting at Gary’s Garage. Saturday, February 24th, 6pm Annual Car Club Banquet- Place to be determined.

standing. Advertising space in the newsletter is available to all
members. Some advertising options are as follows: garage space for
rent, vehicles for sale, parts for sale, etc. If you wish to submit
