November 2006 Cruisers Newsletter

The next meeting will be Monday, December 18'th at 7:00 PM at Rick & Marcia’s Farm.  This will be our election meeting for next year's officers as well as our Gag Gift exchange.  Thanks to Rick & Marcia for being our gracious hosts for the meeting.

Directions:  Take Highway 52 South past the Edgewood Restaurant to Goodhue County #9, turn LEFT (East) and follow to Goodhue County#8, turn LEFT (North) and follow #8 about 1 to 2 miles to 375th Street.  Turn LEFT and follow up a hill about ˝ mile to the Clemen’s Farm. It's the 1'st farm on your left.  If lost call 651-258-4527.   All members significant others are invited and Santa will make a guest appearance!

Highlights from November's meeting.

• Doug & Gary will meet with Grandpa’s Garage and set up cruise dates for 2007

• The members would also like club cruises to destinations such as the Pickle Factory in Pepin, Wisconsin and Mazeppa, etc.  Gary & Doug will set up some dates for 2007.

• Tour Committee - Marv volunteered to see if Ford still has tours

• Motion was made and 2'nd to have our awards banquet at the Pine Island American Legion on Saturday, February 24th, 2007.   Doug and Gary to set up arrangements.

• Swap areas were discussed, and a motion was made to have free swap space with 1 paid admission.   This was unanimously approved.

• Marcia showed some shirts and it was tabled till the next meeting.   The members expressed thanks to Marcia for all the work she has done for the club.

• John Lee will go to next City Council meeting to get approval for show etc.

• Marv volunteered to have the March meeting at his garage.

• Gary is collecting shirt sizes at the meetings for the club shirts for next season.

• MSRA turned down our voting event request for 2007, but asked us to submit next year.

  • Monday, December 18th, 2006 – 7:00 PM Club Meeting:   Christmas meeting at Rick & Marcia Clemens Farm.   Remember to bring your exchange gag gifts!  Also this will be election of next years officers.

  • February 2'nd and 4'th, 2007:   World of Wheels Show at the River Centre St. Paul
