November 2006 Cruisers Newsletter The next meeting will be Monday, December 18'th at 7:00 PM at Rick & Marcia’s Farm. This will be our election meeting for next year's officers as well as our Gag Gift exchange. Thanks to Rick & Marcia for being our gracious hosts for the meeting. Highlights from November's meeting. • Doug & Gary will meet with Grandpa’s Garage and set up cruise dates for 2007 • The members would also like club cruises to destinations such as the Pickle Factory in Pepin, Wisconsin and Mazeppa, etc. Gary & Doug will set up some dates for 2007. • Tour Committee - Marv volunteered to see if Ford still has tours • Motion was made and 2'nd to have our awards banquet at the Pine Island American Legion on Saturday, February 24th, 2007. Doug and Gary to set up arrangements. • Swap areas were discussed, and a motion was made to have free swap space with 1 paid admission. This was unanimously approved. • Marcia showed some shirts and it was tabled till the next meeting. The members expressed thanks to Marcia for all the work she has done for the club. • John Lee will go to next City Council meeting to get approval for show etc. • Marv volunteered to have the March meeting at his garage. • Gary is collecting shirt sizes at the meetings for the club shirts for next season. • Nominees for office: • MSRA turned down our voting event request for 2007, but asked us to submit next year. • Drawing winner: Chris Zweber. Advertising space in the newsletter is available to all members. Some advertising options are as follows: garage space for rent, vehicles for sale, parts for sale, etc. If you wish to submit items for the newsletter; contact the editor, Gary Sigmeth, at (507)263-4622.
