November 2005 Cruisers Newsletter The next meeting will be Monday, November 21st at 7 pm at Gary’s Garage at 8001 County 17 Blvd, 2 miles East on County 17, 1st driveway on the left after the Pine Creek Bridge(Fire # 8001). If lost call 263-4622. Highlights from October's meeting. • Gary has reserved Saturday, February 25th at Grandpa’s Garage for our Annual Club Banquet; the menu is to be decided later. • A nomination committee consisting of Denny Sjoquist, Ron Johnston and Jerry Carroll was formed to nominate members for next year's officers. • Adopt-A-Highway cleanup is to be on Saturday, October 22. Meet at St. Pius Parking Lot 9am. • Tour of Speedway Motors to be scheduled for early spring of '06 by Bob Bryan. • Doug La Rock has volunteered to spearhead the show flyer and trophies for next year and he will need our help when asked. Thanks Doug. • Doug La Rock is working on the club emblem and window sticker and will have more to report next meeting. • Denny reported that Brainerd NHRA is on the calendar for August 10th,11,12,&13th 2006. So, be planning now for tickets from Denny after the 1st of the year. • Upcoming meetings: Nov-Gary’s; Dec- Rick & Marcia’s?, Jan- Denny’s • John Lee obtained a 9 month CD at White Rock Bank to be used for 2006 show. • Motion was made & 2nd for $1000 budget for 2006 Banquet, motion passed. • Cruises on Oct 1st & 2nd were attended by 7 vehicles on Sunday.
