NEXT MEETING

The next meeting will be Monday, May 19th at 7pm at Chris Zweber's Garage. Directions: Take highway 19 west towards Northfield. Follow 19 past Stanton and turn right on Alta Ave(County Rd 59) north for 2 miles to Sciota Trail and turn left and follow for 0.6 miles to 31270 Sciota Trail on your left and the garage is down the drive behind house. If lost call Chris at: 612-685-7126. See youse all there!

MARCH 2008 MEETING HIGHLITES

• Much discussion about the web site. It was decided that Adam will be our webmaster and evaluation sheets were handed out for members to help Adam with updating site. Denny will negotiate a fee for service with Adam for the year.
• Old Log Show end of July,will sign up in June or at next meeting.
• At next meeting we will be mailing out flyers to last years attendees.
• Denny,Gary,John & Reed will meet with Chief McCormick to finalize plans for the cruise-in.
• Doug will contact Kevin's Classics about a tour of facility.
• Chris presented his dinner club cruises and the members approved with maybe Father's Day cruise but will try it anyway.
• Matt presented his sample trophy and the members approved to be used for the 1st place trophies and use O'Reilly's for the other trophies. Matt will get price for 32.
• Ron Johnston mentioned that the Trophy House would cater our Banquet to church basement in New Trier if we desired.
• Adopt-A-Highway project will be Saturday, May 10th at 9am at St. Pius parking lot. Breakfast is optional at the Country Kitchen at 8am.

• Friday, May 9^th, 1^st Club Cruise,Chris to give details at April meeting.
• Saturday, May 10th, Adopt-a_Highway cleanup, meet at St. Pius parking lot at 9am or optional breakfast at Country Kitchen at 8am.
• Sunday, May 18^th, Hastings River Bend Car Club Show,8am-3pm at 18^th&Vermillion Sts.(ConAgra Park).
• Saturday, May 24th,Club Dinner Cruise to Whiskey River Restaurant in St. Peter,Mn.,leave from Cannon Falls Commuter lot at 3pm.
• Monday, May 26^th, Memorial Day Show at Blacksmith Lounge in Hugo,Mn.
• Saturday, June 7th, 5pm till 10pm, setup 4pm for Cannon Falls Cruise-In, need all members as possible to help with barricades etc.& music.
• June 20^th-June 22^nd- Back to the 50’s 1964 and older at the Mn Fairgrounds.

THOUGHT FOR THE MONTH

Remember back in the day when we drank water from a garden hose and not from a plastic bottle! We also had friends because we went outside and found them without internet etc.
