The next meeting will
be Monday, June 16th at 7 pm at Doug LaRock's garage at the corner of
Hywy 19 and York Street, 110 York Street, Cannon Falls. Look for the
orange hot rod truck floral display by the garage. If lost call Doug

2008 MEETING HIGHLITES
- Denny has
negotiated a price with Adam for being our web site coordinator and
Reed mentioned that he would help with the web site expense.
- Gary will
send in registrations for Old Log show on Saturday,July 26th as given
at meeting.
- Denny,Gary,John
& Reed will meet with Chief McCormick for a wrap up on details for
the cruise-in on June 2nd for the Saturday, June 7th cruise-in.
- Doug has
set up a tour and meeting of Kevin's Classics for July 21st at 6pm-
note time change!
- Matt and Denny
will work on the trophies needed for the show with the combo needed
for all the awards. They will present budget at next meeting.
- The 1st club
dinner cruise was very successful as 12 cars showed up with 29 people
and the food was great at the Lake City restaurant. Thanks to our cruise
director: Chris Zweber.
- John Lee shared
a thank you that we received for our donation to the Cannon Falls food
shelf.
- Dallas Dinsen
brought a guest to our meeting: Curt Bohn from Hastings who is a Mopar
guy and is considering joining our club. He was invited to our functions.
- Gary will
email swap registration blanks to all members for their use at shows.
- At the Buick
show Gary received a 2nd place award for his 67 GS.
- Good Guys
show in DesMoines on Saturday,July 5th, members going should contact
Denny at 263-2775.
- 1st Hastings
cruise-in is Saturday, May 31st and members are to pass out cruise-in
flyers etc. Club will leave city commuter lot at 4:30pm.
- 4th of July
parade will be starting from East side park this year,line up at 11am.
- Hot Rod tour
to stop in Rochester Community College on Thursday,June 12th form 4pm
till 7pm. Club will leave from commuter lot at 4pm with car pool.
- Gary to send
out club activity 2008 sheet to all members.
- Drawing winner:

- Saturday,
May 31st, Hastings 1st cruise-in,leave as a club from commuter lot at
4:30pm to distribute flyers etc.
- Saturday,
June 7th from 3pm to 10pm, 1st Cannon Falls Cruise-In, set-up music
signage etc at 3pm-4pm,food shelf truck and barrels.
- Back to the
50's at Mn State Fairgrounds June 20th - 22nd.
- Club meeting
at Doug LaRock's ,Monday June 16th at 7pm.
KEEP CRUISING!
The club newsletter is published and circulated on a monthly basis to all of its members that are in good standing. Advertising space in the newsletter is available to all members. Some advertising options are as follows: garage space for rent, vehicles for sale, parts for sale, etc. If you wish to submit items for the newsletter; contact the editor, Gary Sigmeth, at (507)263-4622. Be sure to contact him before the first week of each month.
