January 2006 Cruisers Newsletter The next meeting will be on Monday, January 16th at 7 pm at Denny Sjoquist’s Garage. Highlights from December's meeting. • Gary has reserved Saturday, February 25th at Grandpa’s Garage for the Annual Club Banquet. The menu is to be decided later. • Election results: Pres-Elect: Doug LaRock, Treasurer: John Lee; Secretary: Gary Sigmeth; Board of Director#3: Adam Johnston • Show flyers need to be done by February, Doug will need everybody's help with this. • Tour of Speedway Motors to be scheduled for early spring of 06 by Bob Bryan. • The design for the club window sticker was finalized and the club will purchase #100 and sell to club members at $1 each; motion carried. • John Lee will attend the city council meeting on Friday to get approval for show and parking. • John Lee to work with MPL on trophies. Doug and Marcia will work on flyer advertising. • Denny reported that Brainerd NHRA is on the calendar for August 10th,11,12,&13th in 2006; and that he will have more information by the club banquet. • Discussed charging for cruises; will finalize at January meeting. • Web site has been updated and Gary will send updated newsletters to Robin. • Motion was made and carried to invite show judges to our Banquet at our expense. • Gary had various door prizes at the meeting; in/lb torque wrenches etc. • Drawing winner: Ryan Rounds Up-Coming Events
KEEP CRUISING! The club newsletter is published and circulated on a monthly basis to all of its members that are in good standing. Advertising space in the newsletter is available to all members. Some advertising options are as follows: garage space for rent, vehicles for sale, parts for sale, etc. If you wish to submit items for the newsletter; contact the editor, Gary Sigmeth, at (507)263-4622.
