JUNE 2010 MEETING HIGHLITES

• Gary & Richard reviewed the cruise to Hansen’s Hold-Up in Arcadia,Wi, the members felt we should do it again the last Saturday in September as a leaf cruise. The cash collected for the food shelf at various events will be retained till March of 2011 for matching funds from the state. The cruise in sign is up in the City parking lot--- Thanks to Tom Fritz.
• Saturday, May 8th- Highway Clean up- We had 9 volunteers,Denny thanked all for a successful clean-up.
• We are signed up for the 4th of July parade and we usually line up by the highschool and Gary will notify you of our position number when he receives.
• Thanks to Chris & Neal Sjoquist for the great time had by all at the club picnic and awards.
• Gary and Dallas won trophies at the Buick show and was a great weather day.
• Al Fliegel has set up a Dinner Cruise for Saturday, June 26th, leave Cannon Falls Commuter Lot at 3pm with dinner at 5-5:30pm at Vino in the Valley,Wisconsin—a full moon that evening! Let Al know if you are going!
• The nature Valley bike race is scheduled for Thursday,June 17th---- Denny has volunteered to help,Gary & John will probably also help.
• Gary will reserve the Club spot at BTT50’s in June at the corner of Underwood and Carnes.
• Saturday, May 8th will be the Highway Clean up day. 8 am optional breakfast at the Country Kitchen and the meet at St. Pius north parking lot at 9am.
• Al Fliegel has volunteered to head up the next Dinner Cruise in June---- Each club member is encouraged to head up a dinner cruise.
• The nature Valley bike race is scheduled for Thursday,June 17th---- Denny has volunteered to help,Gary & John will probably also help.
• Gary will reserve the Club spot at BTT50’s in June at the corner of Underwood and Carnes.
• The Little Log Show will be Saturday, July 25th----- Let Gary know if you are going and he’ll send in the club entries.
• Denny thanked the club for the sympathy card for the family on the passing of his Mother.

UPCOMING EVENTS

• June 18th thru June 20th--- Back to the 50’s at the Minnesota State Fair Grounds with club site at Carnes and Underwood—look for the awning and cruiser signs.
• Monday, June 21st, Club Meeting at Hannah’s Bend Park pavilion at 7pm.
• Saturday, June 26th, Al’s Dinner Cruise to Vino’s in the Valley, leave CF commuter lot at 3pm with dinner at Vino’s at 5-5:30pm. R.S.V.P. to Al Fliegel if going. Dundas Car Show 10am-2:30pm by the Dundas Historical Society,$5 cost
• Sunday, July 4th Parade in Cannon Falls, line up at CF Highschool at 11 am.
• Monday club meetings in July on July 12th, 19th and 26th for cruise and show planning. The 19th is the official monthly club meeting.
