NEXT MEETING

The next meeting will be Monday, July 21st at 6 pm at Kevin's Classics which is located behind the Dairy Queen and North in Cannon Falls. We will also be meeting all Mondays in July with the exception of the 21st at Hannah's Bend for car show planning at 7 pm. See youse all there!

JUNE 2008 MEETING HIGHLITES

  • Denny and Matt came up with various senarios for trophies for show. The members picked option #2 and was approved unanamously by all in attendance.
  • Our club has joined the Cannon Falls Chamber of Commerce as associate members which will give us free advertising for our functions. Gary worked the PanCake Breakfast.
  • July club dinner cruises are: Saturday July 12th, leave commuter lot at 3pm; Friday July 25th,leave commuter lot at 6:15pm. ?'s call Chris @ 612-685-7126.
  • Marv reminded everyone to hand out the swapper registrations for the show.
  • We collected $70 and 6 bags of canned goods from our June 7th cruise-in for the food shelf.
  • Cruise-In update, had 55 cars total, need to fill 4th st. 1st then Mill St.; Barricades down at 10pm only.
  • Welcome to new member:Chuck(what's Up) Hoffman with his 66 New Yorker!
  • July 4th Parade,Line up by East Side Park by 11am and Ryan Rounds is having his Hog Roast on the 4th starting at 6pm See Flyer.Remember NO THROWING CANDY,has to be handed out.
  • Doug has set up a tour and meeting of Kevin's Classics for July 21st at 6pm- note time change! Meeting will be at 7pm in the Board Room at Kevin's Classics.
  • Good Guys show in DesMoines on Saturday,July 5th, members going should contact Denny at 263-2775.

    UPCOMING EVENTS

    • Friday,July 4th, Cannon Falls Parade. Line up at East Side Park at 11am, when Gary receives line up number for the club he will notify by email.
    • Friday, July 4th, Pig Roast at Ryan Rounds, bring chairs,dish to pass and BYOB, starting at 6pm and stay for the fireworks.
    • Saturday, July 5th- Trip to DesMoines for Goodguys Show,Info call Denny at 263-2775.
    • Saturday, July 12th, Club dinner cruise to Lighthouse Bay restaurant in Waterville,leave Cannon Falls Commuter lot at 3pm.
    • Saturday, July 19th, Cruise-In downtown Cannon Falls 5pm to 10pm, need club members early to set up barricades etc.
    • Monday, July 21st, Note time: 6pm tour of Kevin's Classics with meeting to follow at 7pm.

KEEP CRUISING!

The club newsletter is published and circulated on a monthly basis to all of its members that are in good standing.   Advertising space in the newsletter is available to all members.   Some advertising options are as follows: garage space for rent, vehicles for sale, parts for sale, etc.  If you wish to submit items for the newsletter; contact the editor, Gary Sigmeth, at (507)263-4622.   Be sure to contact him before the first week of each month.
