The new and renewed edition of the Architecture for Exhibition course at YACademy will focus on preservation practices, lighting techniques, and perception psychology to allow designers to deepen their knowledge of technical practices to adopt in exhibition design. The students will attend a wide panel of teaching modules and lectures held by world-famous professionals with the likes of Emmanuelle Moureaux, Federico Pompignoli (former OMA), Livia Tani (Ateliers Jean Nouvel), Giulio Rigoni (BIG), Paolo Matteuzzi (Zaha Hadid Architects). In addition, they will work on a real design topic: the final design of the Akhenaten Museum, in Egypt, under the tutorship of David Chipperfield Architects Milano. After the design process, the students will also be involved in the construction process of their own ideas, and they will be granted an internship/collaboration opportunity with the prestigious studios belonging to YACademy's network, with the likes of the following studios: SANAA, Emmanuelle Moureaux architecture + design, Herzog & de Meuron, David Chipperfield Architects, BIG - Bjarke Ingels Group.
